Everyone pretty much hates Stryker, even I do. I thought he definitely needed a revamp so I came up with this.

Nice pic, but that is not Stryker.

The character looks like a concept for a new cyborg design more than for Stryker. It's a nice picture, but you altered Stryker too drastically. If we saw his face instead of the mask, maybe his backwards cap, and no sword, then it'd look more like him.

nice he looks like robocops lol. srry to say that but each time u draw an mk character he always lose his personality. u make them too different. this is a nice concept for a new character or for mokap(lol) but i dont see stryker in in. strykers wasnt suposed to be a fat cop? lol 4/5
I thought you guys would appreciate a new look for Stryker. MK character designs have drasticly changed over the years like Sub-Zero, Reptile, Raiden, and many others. I think Stryker really needed a revamp, so I gave it to him.

None of the characters have drastically changed to the point of being unrecognizable:
Reptile's no longer a green ninja. He gradually changed from a palette swap to a more-obvious reptilian warrior, to an iguana-like monster;
Sub-Zero still looks like a blue ninja, only with a lot more armour on him;
Raiden's now wearing dark red and black;
I'm one of the few Stryker fans out there who believes that he does need a new look, but I wouldn't want him to become a robotic-like warrior with a sword.
You're style usually has the characters looking beefed-up and stronger, which I think would be an interesting look for Stryker, but the helmet and the sword just don't suit him. He's the only normal mortal, and I believe that he should stick to being one.

what about johnny cage? he's pretty normal. acts like a regular guy, just look at the opening video for mksm. and about the picture, i like it, but this looks nothing like stryker, even less than your other pictures. i see no essence of his charecter. as for people hating him, i always liked stryker in how he was a normal guy just caught up in a big war. you should ditch strykers old uniform and his "weight problem" but dont make too drastic a change. us stryker fanboys do not want to see him looking like the terminator and wielding a sword.

He might act like a regular guy, but he can still shoot green fireballs and do shadow-based attacks; Stryker relies only on his weapons for his abilities (well, his Nightstick Throw attack's out of the ordinary, but that's the only one).

yeah, i kno. they change him up too much. i was never much of a fan of johnny, anyway. if all your pics change like this, rufix, then you should do nightwolf. he needs a change.

It's been a long time since MK3, I'm sure technology has advanced, even weaponry. The sword isn't just a sword, it's also a pistol. I gave him that Lost In Space style helmet/mask because a backword cap isn't going to protect you in MK now.
