I quite like it.
What I would have liked to see though was perhaps the pillar that Scorp is knocked into breaking instead of cracking, i.e. ending inward towards where Scorp hit it.
The ending pics are only necessary depending on what type of pic it is. If it's an MK fake picture, then they aren't really needed. If its a pic that is supposed to show the powers and abilities of the characters, then yeah, the ending pics are a nice touch.

Okay, I like the "smear" effect on Scorpion, but the faded face of Sub-Zero and Scorpion’s ending is just totally unnecessary to me. You should have made the column break as scorpion hits it. That would have at least made the fake a little bit more interesting.

pretty nice. Nice concept. Ive never saw a fake like this that Max did spawn but idk your prolly right. It does seem like sortov a run-of-the-mill sorta attack but u added flavor and style to it pretty nice. 7.5/10.
