These are pics taken from a video I made a couple of days ago. I love the fatalities and I had the idea of making the ones I like the most in 3D. I know the modelling is really crap, from the characters to the spine, which look like a stick, but hey, i did it very fast. I'll post a link to the vid as soon as I finish editing sound and music. Till then, I hope you enjoy the pics. If you want me to do any fatality, you are free to ask, but don't push me too hard ok? ;-?D Maybe, I'll try Johnny Cage head decap for my next one. What do you think?
yeah, the modelling sucks bad, but i didn't want to expend time on it, but on the animation. Here are some pics of the Scorpion im doing along with the fatality animations, which i think is cool. It's from a drawing of Jax007 and it's still wip. Hope you like it.

How long have you been modeling?
In my opinion, iinstead of doing Johnny's head decap, I think you should do the Torso Rip from MKII. That would be awesome.
As fot the smoothing of the video...i wouldn't be very opthimistic about it hehehe, the whole thing is quite crappy, I've never been as good as animator than as modeller. Again, it only takes practice and lot of time.

I like how Scorpion is looking.
Areas I would work on are the mid section and the connection between the pectorals and the shoulder.
Make it look more realistic.
Use a lot of Photo reference when modeling. That's what I do.
I have a trick for making the Serratus muscle i figured out my self.
You basically start out with a stair way shape for the spikes, then just stretch the shape back. It's the best and easiest way I know for making that muscle look realistic.
High poly
Low poly
I can explain it better if you still don't understand.
PS: Are you planning on animating this, or is it just going to be like a static mesh?
I would appreciate it if you explained your method to me in detail, because I still find it difficult to understand some therms about modeling (my english about specifical terms and so sucks a lil bit).
By the way, i love your motaro, especially the upper torso and head parts. I'd like to know about your ¿¿whereabouts?? some more. I already saw your stuff and it's really great.

You should keep doing the fatality ones! Even if they are of less quality, it's interesting to actually see different fatality ideas...
