Awesome job brother. Yeah it's a shame you can't make it for Mac, now I have to go on my pc to play it, where I have no sound. Nice way around the krypt thing. When I tried making a krypt, I didn't think of making one with several entrances. Good job.
And overall, it's just very nicely and beautifully done. And I loved the monk key business, though there was a glitch there. I managed to go into the monk's house and get the koin before I found the key or before I had even spoken to the monk.

BUT

God damn it I can't get to Smoke? How do I get the antidote for Kobra?

Question - is there any music meant to be going on? I noticed it installed a lot of midi files including deadpool.mid but when I'm playing there has been no music so far - only wave files?

I'd have figured in the deadpool I'd hear the deadpool midi so any light?

I also hate you for this, because it's so awesome it makes me want to make my own MK RPG game in Flash now and I simply don't have the time!!!!!

The biggest problem about RPG Maker, is it will only work flawlessly on specific type of PC's by the looks of things, because yea, Tims, there is supposed to be music everywhere!

Sorry to hear if you can't play it in full screen, to be fair ]{ knows more about this than I do, but you may just have to deal with the whole smaller screen mode!

Sounds like a problem with your sound settings, Tim. Try clicking on the "Volume Control" icon and looking for the MIDI tab, and bring it all the way up.

For some silly reason, Windows Media Player tends to put this on mute after it's done playing MIDI's.



I had the same problem on another computer, you're gonna have to get the latest drivers for your graphics card, that fixes it just fine

I just passed it this morning. Excellent game, just perfect. I wish more people had put in more shading in the sprites. (That also means me.)

I also wish it had more music, the game was kinda quiet. I enjoyed this game however.

Omg, you beat the game already?

Yeah. It only took 3 hours. (W/O downloading time.)

One thing about the sprites, now that it has been mentioned, I really don't like the lack of consistency. I mean, you have beautiful sprites like those of Dark Rayden, Shujinko, Shang Tsung... And then Rain and Ermac look like they were taken straight out of Game Boy Colour. I mean. Come on brother. Come on.

My intro song is complete. This game will play like Zelda so no battles but real time fighting, and currently has no star role. It willbe done with RPGMXP, Postality Knights Edition, because im to cheap to buy real version. If anyone wants to help outplease feel free to PM me.

Your probably trying to import an image that is greater than 8-bits. You have to bring your image down to 8-Bits for it to work in RPG Maker. It can be done easily in programs like Photoshop. However, doing this will remove/change some colors.



I actually finished an Ermac sprite last night. It's of his MK:D primary costume. I may also go on to make a MK:A Rain sprite as well.



Making a game on RPG Maker takes a lot of skills and time. You can't just download it and expect to make fully operational game right away. My advice: take some time to get used to it before announcing games as it will most likely end up in failure.

Yeah brother, RPG maker isn't as easy as it seems- or at least, it's defenetely not easy to make something like the Shujinko Game. Also, I didn't know you could make real time combat in RPG maker?

Seriously, don't use XP, everyone does, because they think "oh, it's the latest version so therefore it's better!" It has better graphics, but unforunately, those graphics are impossible to get - good luck getting MK graphics for it! RPG Maker 2000 is able to do almost anything providing you have the skillz, and coincidentally, no one finishes their RPG's for XP because they can't find graphics for it Just look for some decent tutorials for RPG Maker 2000! There is a website + nice people on this website with effectively the entire MK cast for RPG Maker 2000!

And Zentile, yea, they were from the old Sub Zero and Reptile's adventure game... My first sprites ever I think from about 4/5 years ago! Not sure why we used them, could we find those better sprites ]{? Ah well

3 Hours, ey? Wow, we actually made a pretty decently long game! Awesome. Did you find all those crafty keys? Although I don't think we made them too hard to find... Also, there was music on every single stage! Are you encountering the same problem as Tims? Or did the musc just not appeal to you Some retro Mario in there!

Oh yeah, using XP is foolish. 2000 is the best one because it's the simplest and therefore you can find anything you need for it.

well about RPGmaker Experience, I have been using RPG Maker for probably3 years now. So thats not a problem. I know how to script in RUBY(its code base language) somewhat, its been about 5-6months. I know how to do a quick edit for all the ninjas, and then just sprite editing. I have used both 2000 and XP, I am a firm believer in RPGMXP. but yah I know about the sprite issue. Thing is the sprites in 2k are less attractive then in XP.
