I will be editing my own sprites and doing it in RPGMXP, even though this game is pretty entertaining, Using RpgM2k is in my opinion... a easy road.

I would describe it more as RPGM2000 the normal road and RPGXP the extreamely hard road.

But i'll be looking forward to your game when it comes out in 10 yearswink

I'm downloading it right now so I haven't played it, but I think it's going to rock. "It is called . . . the chaos emerald." Instant win. Sonic the Hedgehog ftw.

Zentile, the term EASY ROAD was used to described the fact that the sprites take no real editing... look at the defintion of the sprites in 2k, then look in XP! I've worked in both, Ive made an MKRPG in both, and I always come to the conclusion it must be done in XP, even though you cant FIND sprites. You hvae to EDIT THEM!

If you were a giant company making an rpg with RPG Maker then you would definately use XP because you have a whole team of talented editers working on the sprites but realistically for the average joe like an mko user few people are going to take that kind of time to make a game with rpg maker so most people choose to use 200 because the possibility of a good game being finished on time is much more realistic(plus since 2000 is outdated it is free while XP cost $60)

I don't feel you ''HAVE TO'' at all. I loved Shujinko Game. There's A LOT of room for improvement, but it's the best thing so far.

I liked the Shujinko game as well. I am not any kind of credited Gamedesigner or anything... I have the Torque Engine and Maya at my disposal because one day I want to be a GD, so I think any RPGMaker is a EASY ROAD. Its a rarity that someone does something great with a engine that is built to be an easy road, so in this case congratulation are in order. It seems every time, and even this time, I go to make a MK RPG it end up being Developed into something else. Zentile, I respect your views and opinions you bring to this board so dont think I am trying to bash or battle your opinions. I just believe with a little work, a better then great MK RPG could be a realistic possibility. Done in XP, with help from many instead of one or two.

"BUILD IT AND THEY SHALL COME" right?

I would do something in the Torque Engine... but I think I might fall on some kind of trademark or copy right infringement.

Yes well, as opposed to talk about it, you should really get started instead of just posting about how you wonder if you'll be infringing copyright.
Anyone no how to get these two chests?
