I like the first one.. well I like the 2 sprites & background.

1st fake: A baraka orgy - wth were you thinking? Where did Cage's head come from? It looks generic. 2/10

2nd fake: A ninja orgy. The only special powers you used were Sub's for freezing Jax's feet. Plus it looks sloppy as hell. Try harder 3/10

I remember when you posted this. Your entire thread was riddled with bickering by newbies. "Blacksaibot, you're shallow." "Blacksaibot, if this is the best you have to offer, than you have no right to critique." LOL, I doubt you remember though.

Both are very nice. I’ve never been a fan of the two or three-on-one Fatalities, but both of these at least make sense. Something that lacks from the other attempts. So first, you created a believable context but I also like the Fatalities themselves. I think they’re both quite sick and twisted, less forgiving than anything the MK team would make now.

I don’t know if it was intentional in the Tarkartan (did I spell that correctly?) fake, but I like that one of the warriors is holding the disembodied head up at eye level with the ravaged corpse. If I’m not mistaken, a the eyes continue sending information to the brain for another ten seconds after being removed from the body, so it’s as if these psycho killers are forcing Raiden to watch himself being killed. Nice touch.

And in the Three Ninjas (“I am not a ninja! I am Lin Kuei! Scorpion was a ninja!”) image, Jax is being tortured slowly. Any further detail would be too obvious, but this level of detail is missing from a lot of fakes lately. They’ve all turned to these cliche scenarios of fighters getting ripped in half, simply decapitated, or disemboweled. Shouldn’t Fatalities look painful? Your answer is a resounding “yes”.

The only elements I question are the random Johnny Cage head and Sub-Zero’s MK4 ice staff. Why did you include these, (especially the staff)?

#1: I like some of the blood fx on it and the positions the characters are in! Baraka #3 look skinny and too much like Cage's torso. #2's pants look out of place, but nothing that major. But please explain... Where is Raiden's Lower half? And where is the rest of Kung Lao's body? Other than those things, it better than most of the stuff nowdays.

#2: It's a bit better than #1. I like how Scorpion and Reptile are holding Jax, and the positioning actually looks good, except for the hands they have. Looks too Painty. The blood stains and effects ON Jax look truly magnificent. Jax being frozen by his feet, that looks fantastic. The pool of blood with less in it looks a smidge out of place, but the second pool is fine. I like how you recolour the blood instead of leaving it to look bright. Sub Zero looks like he's holding the intestine with his thumb and not gripping it. Sub Zero's weapon looks OK, what program did you make it with?

Like illusion said, the blood is nice. Not overdone. Those are quality. the tarkatan fake is my fav. The only complaint that I have is with Sub-zero's weapon. Looks out of place, like it's from another game. Good stuff otherwise.

As for the fakes...you already know what I think. The idea for the first one was mine, and it wasn't executed well at all. I love the blood effects on Raiden, but that's it for the compliments. You were supposed to make the Barakas into samurai-like characters. What happened, yo? Man, you must have seriously lost interest in this one, because it went downhill in a hurry when I last saw it (I know it was a couple years ago, but I have a crazy memory). That's all I gotta say, nigga.

Those are awesome. The Tarkatans rock, and I love Sub's MK4 Ice wand.

So that's where Scorpion gets all the "rope" for his spears.

Unfortunately for me, I no longer have computer access at my house due to technical issues. However, I will one day return to the MK Fan Art business, because that is a must. For now, I'm just howling public computers and brainstoring ideas onto paper for my next animation or fake so I won't forget.

It would have been better if these fakes would have stayed lost. Lol im jk, i just had to say that. They r pretty good, in the first fake, its kinda a boring idea imo, but the effects r done very nicly and the sprites look pretty crisp. Now in the second fake, i really like the idea of this, i think showing ppl organs n shit is always cool. Like the first the effects r done very well, except Sub-Zeros weapon, i dont know if u edited it a little or at all but the Mk4 weapon clashs with the Mk2 feel. These fakes could have been better if there were a custom backround so they would look so generic, but o well they r still good. Id give u................................ 3.5/5
