Did you take Sindel versus pose and made it a sprite? because its looking great. Jade edit is good. You could add more blood to Mileena.

I like em' both, the first one is very cool, really original, if you ask me.
The sond one is also nice, tho I dont really like Jade's arms, but thats not a big problem, it still looks nice. You could've added some more blood in the seond fake, I see Mileena's legs on the ground, lol, but there's not enough blood. :\

I quit working on the second one... so yeah. I expect dissapointment from that one. I didn't even finish editing Jade. She's missing her high heals, her hair, I hardly did shit to Sindels costume... bleh. And yeah, there isn't much blood. You don't even see Mileena's hands. I'll probably finish that fake when I get interrested in fakes again, but right now I lost my interrest (for the 100th time in my life).

Well, great to see you out of hibernation BlackSaibot, also it is great that you decided to post some of your work. Though it is better than the majority of the fakes on this board I still see some little things that you could do to make your fakes better. Yes, I know you must be rusty since you haven't made fakes consistantly since a few years ago, but it is too bad that you think fakes are getting boring since it seems we are going through another 'fake flood' here in the fan submission. Anyway here is my review for your fakes:

Idea: Hm, the idea in both of these fakes are actually quite creative, good job with that. I guess I didn't see MarkoftheVeno's 'fake' with that idea, or I don't remember it. Anyway, good job in the idea department.

BG: Nothing special here, but not every fake has to have a custom or original background to make the fake look good. Although, I would have liked to see a MKDeception bg for the second one. Ah well, thats ok.

Sprites: Pretty nice overall. Though, they seem a tab too cartoony for my tastes.. I don't know if you were going for that or not but I guess that's how they turned out. I especially like the Quan Chi, Jade, and Mileena custom sprites but they would have been better, in my opinion, if they were more realisitic. The weapens are also nice creations, though they suffer from the same cartoonish feel of the sprites. One again I say: maybe you were going for that look and feel. Whatever suits you I guess.

Effects: The blood here for the most part is pretty well done on the sprites themselves. But, the blood in other places seem a tad un-realistic to me for some reason. Er, a little drawback, no shadows. Thats an iffy area so I might let you get away with this since you got bored.

Other: The minor edits to the lifebars is also a nice touch.

Overall: I have liked your fakes for years and this one isn't really too much of an exception. This fake is still better than most fakes on the board. Anyway, your overall score is 7/10.

Tips: Well, I guess if you want to take these tips to mind, you could try and make your editing a little more realistic or detailed. Just my opinion though. If you were that much more realistic you could be the next VenoMark easily.

This rating is only for your fakes out of respect for your talent, not your personality. The first one I think is about a 8/10 and the second is a nice idea, I give it a 8.5/10.

I really like the blood. If there was one person I wanted to learn how to do good blood from its you, but thats all the good i can say about you. And my momma always told me "if you cant say anything nice, then kick the guy in the shin..." and well I cant kick you over cyberspace. Good work...

I love the sprites in the second one.

I like them. They cool. The edits are pretty good but could use some darker shades (sindel especially). Pretty good from coming back from the dead...heh.

I'm glad most of you like them, and yeah I admit they are a bit cartoony and I agree about shading them... I might finish the mileena one (or make a new one) if my winter break gets boring or maybe next summer when I have time.
