the only thing that i would change is that the background lightning kinda mixes w the lightning on liu kang, so its hard to tell wich is whihc...

There's no lightning on the stage. All of the lightning is from Rain.

Kamionero has that artistic eye. There is stage lightning in the background near the left and right energy bars. The right seems to blend into Rain's lightning

I think the lightening is awesome. The rain sprite is meh, and as u have probly already been told, the names need to fit the life bar. 3.5/5

It seems like you don't get any better... The rain is reasonable, but you didn't use blood, nor did you make any serious edits. The electricity is okay.

Cmon you know this piece is better than anything in a 50 mile radius

You should edit the sprites so that Rain doesn't look like hes pulling on Scorpion spear. Also you could edit Ermac so he looks like hes doing a telekinetic thing. All you've been doing is changing the colors. You also need to think of better ways to kill people. Also u only gave the person a shadow that was doing the fatality.

Rain looks really, really bad. Almost like you didn't even pallette swap it, you just put a purple paintbrush over it. And where's Liu's shadow? I understand he's being electrocuted, but he'd still have a shadow.

UltimateRyu, just because you used as many Photoshop effects as humanly possible, doesn't mean people are gonna like it. I, for one, can't stand them as it totally kills the retro look of MK1/MK2 'fakes.'

I mean, for the most part, it gives people an easy way out that they hope will make the newer people (or at least the idiots) 'ooh' and 'aah' at their amazing skills....which they don't have.

As for these, well, they've got lots of eye-candy (or the opposite for haters of PS) but are otherwise dull. I mean, how many times have these been done before? Or at least the basic concept, eh? Plus, there really aren't any edits done to the characters themselves, other then the inclusion of injuries and stuff and the palette swaps.

Hell, if you really had the amazing abilities you seem to think you have, why didn't you edit the characters more? I guess you could say that you wanted to keep them in the style of them game, but why couldn't you do something as easy as that if there are so many more 'great' things you can create in these fakes.

But I digress.

So look, these are really bland and boring. They might have some PS effects. But shortcuts and flashy effects don't make good 'art' (term used loosely in conjunction with fakes ^_^.) They just proove you can 'wow' the uneducated and uninformed which, I guess, you might want to do. Which is fine, though I wouldn't suggest you think that everyone here is so damn impressionable. That kind of thinking might lead you to get angry over nothing but a few reviews on an internet forum. ^_^'

Wow, you every single effect ONE PIXEL AT A TIME?! Damn. I thought you had used Photoshop's built-in lighting effects and assorted other tools that do the grunt work for you. My mistake, I had no idea you had 10,000,000 hours of free time to devote to MSPaint.

I really dont know what people understand is a good fake... guess what ppl want to see is something u'd believe was made in '92 but its not actually possible in the game...

the thing is... most of the time those will be boring as shit (at lest for me..)!!! Fakes ppl RAVE about in this site I really find uninteresting... personally what I like in a "good" fake is a good basic idea... an interesting power on a character...an innovative fatality or death trap.... and if its cool looking even better... that's what I like about UR... he has pretty good ides and interesting execution... I guess this is not very loyal to the definition of a fake... and they may not be masterpieces hahaha, but I think they are def. worth posting...

also... I kno there are ppl well versed in fakes who do not like URs work at all...like -A-nubis... and thats fine.... but I also there are ppl here who DEF. hop on the bashing train just to be cool... and everyone knows who u r... they just dont say anything not to bother... and those ppl are what bothers me most... if u dont know shit... dont give attitude... stfu and sit tight...
