I'd love to see a MK series starting with the MK1 storyline and going as far as possible.

I heard they were actually gonna do a series with the cast from MK1, I just don't know When, Robin Shou is in Street Fighter, so it might take time.

A series would be mega-tricky to do, really. It would require a pretty big budget to not look cheesy, so it'd need to get a lot of ratings, to justify the faith put into it. Gore is also a big part of Mortal Kombat, so it would restrict the viewing to later at night. You can't have a 6pm MK.

The best time to do a MK series, would probably be after the next movie comes out, and if MK vs. DC becomes a success. These two ventures would revitalise MK to the point where it becomes a franchise marketable enough to take these sort of risks with.

I'd like to see the show actually be well-written, with the sort of care Christopher Nolan took with The Dark Knight, elevating MK above its perceived gore-hound status. MK has a rich story, so I'd like to see that explored and emphasised. Start with the original MK, which could take up a full season, and then you can move into MK2 if that is a success.

I would like a TV series, but knowing that it's probably going to be on some station that people rarely watch, I'm not sure a TV series would help promote the game's populartiy, even though Conquest was somewhat a decent success, and I pity it for not lasting longer, I still don't see that another TV series would work.

As well as including the cartoon series that only lasted... 22 episodes. So, MK with the TV shows... not really good.
