I checked this out and had a look on imdb and they had changed their info since I last visited.

They did not have as much info as wikipedia, but I enjoyed the search topics I found in wikipedia regarding MK: Devastation. They had past characters that might be in prospect of the third installment.

I am a little disappointed though, being a sub-zero fan and all. They should make a small animatic movie about sub-zero to put on the dvd to compensate.

lol.........SubZero is my favorite as well man, so if this is in fact true, which we can never tell, but I am upset as well, but you know, Sub Zero is badass as a mysterious character and whatever this movie is gonna base its story on, I hope they make SubZero real mysterious and really freakin badass like they made him and Scorpion in MK1, except make them have control over their souls and not be someones puppets like the Real MK story states. But I too was kinda interested in the possiblity of Sub Zero mythologies being made into a film, but it might have flopped because it would be hard to make a good film over him being the main character because to a lot of fans he is still a mysterious shadowy ninja type figure you know? but if this film is ever made, he better be portrayed as the baddest fastest kickassest he's ever been portrayed!!!! MOOORRTTAAAALLLL KOOOOMBBAAAATTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Give me back the characters of the first movie and some new face(quan chi for example),and everbody will be happy.

what are you talking about man? I think you are confused, we said that the prequel story is just another rumour, so it is very possible that MK Devastation could have those characters that you would like to see, just have faith, peace

just being a fan of MK....i'm obligated to see the movie. The only thing i'll believe about the movie is going to be from the offical Mortal Kombat website. Other than that, all of these things about the movie are all lies to me!

If it will be a prequel,i don't see any way to include these characters...
BTW i want a movie based on daedly Alliance ! WTF! can be possible that at almost a years from the release date(not sure9 we haven't a damn SURE information(we have just one and it's not a good new(Robin Shou wil not be in it)).

It's not, but neither is the site it quotes. It's just some random fansite that posted that information without any backup. Until the information is posted on mortalkombat.com or at least we see a video of someone involved with the production, it's not confirmed.
