Any Sick Ideas

Ok i created this thread for any random ideas that would be really cool in the new mk movie ok here are mine

The merging of two characters- wouldnt it be awesome if two characters would merge to make a super warrior. Ideas of merging could be raiden and liu kang, or cyrax and sektor merge into a super orange like robot.something cool like that.

Linkin park songs- In fight scenes linkin park songs can be put to good use as they build up to a climax i listen to song such as "lying from you"
"dont stay" "crawling" "faint" and so on and close my eyes when i listen to the choruses and can picture an intense battle between two warriors try it you will know what i mean (also a song like somewhere i belong can be used for a sad scene)

Intense large battles- As the new movie is named devastation it gives the aura of the end of earthrealm fighting and so on so big battles between different warriors would be cool

Traitor- someone who turns from being a earthrealm warrior tohelping the enemy

Scorpion- in a scene where scorpion really pissed he stares at his rival and kind of flashes is eyes and his pupils turn like red or something,that would be pretty cool.

ok tell me what you think about thes ideas i mean if theres some really good ones i might send them to midway or the mk devastation website email suggestions thingy

Ok, a way overdone topic, first off. Maybe finding a similar topic would be your best bet before making one that's been beat to death already.


As for your ideas, I don't mean to shoot them down completely, but alot of them aren't plausable. Merging of characters is nowhere near the MK type of thing that would happen....at all. The closest thing to a combined-character is Noob-Smoke, and that's a tag team system. Having a "merged" character, is about as feasable for MK as making Shao Khan and Raiden brothers -.-

Another thing I don't see in MK is alot of punk music, especially Linkin Park. Don't get me wrong, I love the band and their music. However, again....it just simply isn't MK. Look at the past two movie soundtracks. You have fastpaced hardcore loud rock, metal, and trance-like music; ala Fear Factory and KMFDM. Unless Linkin Park made a song eclusively for the movie itself, I don't see them or any other punk band doing music for the 3rd movie.

Of course MK is going to have plenty of grand, elaborate fights and battles. That's a given. It's a *fighting-game" based movie. Kinda obvious. As for the traitor idea, the only one I can see being with the Earthrealm warriors at first, and then betraying them, is possibly Kabal or Li Mei. Anything else wouldn't really fit the storyline, IMO.

OK number 1 its a good topic i dont care what u say it gives people the chance to tell others what they want to see in new movies.

As for the merging it should be a really rare thing thats used as a last resort at the end of the movie

As for the songs trance and heavy was 1990s linkin park music could really fit the movie

Im not talking about elobarate fight scenes i mean battles on big scales like the lin kuei vs is it black or red dragon hmmm i forget anyway as a last point can u take it easy and stop being so negative im a newbie and i just want to spread some ideas

I agree Footlong-Subzero, fusing sounds like a great idea, and by the way, I absolutely hate DragonBall Z. The fight scenes are repeated footage of the same punching and blocking over and over until one of them flies away. grin But that doesn't mean I hate fusing in Mortal Kombat. It could be something simpler, like a character possessing the body of another, then you could play as that character though he would look like a wreck and his Styles and voice would be that of the host character. His name could be a mix of the two, or something. Some good ideas brewing here, me thinks. wink

anyway scorpion doesnt even know of a new sub-zero in the game he thinks hes dead and thats the end of it

i cant remember them being the best of buds..... im not saying i like the idea but if theres going to be a merge of any sort your closest bet would be kung lao and liu kang or mileena and tanya/jade/khamelion/kitana

plus it goes on to say process takes upto 3months and you couldnt fit that in a film...because MK has always stayed to the lines of martial arts as far as i knowtonguetonguetonguetonguetongue

well how about liu dying at the beggining of the movie and then he gets resurected at the end and kitana runs over to him but he bycical kicks her and she looks up and he says"im not that nice now"meaning hes turned bad then we have a plot for mk 4 if there is on

At the end of mka liu kang was asked to become a god so imagine in mk devastation if there was a desperate fight and the earth warriors had no more hope than liu descends from the heavens with the fat boy slim "right here right now" start instrumental. With all flames swirling around him and a stern face.Sounds cool me thinks
