In my research, specifically the G.I. Joe Encyclopedia, there was never any mention of a Jade figure released, especially since the Hasbro line faired poorly and was ended (the reason why it's so expensive to buy even a loose figure because they are so rare).

Unless someone can present evidence to the contrary, assume this is either custom or one of the Jade figures from the other lines.

The paint looks to heavy to be a G.I. Joe figure anyway.

Actually this Jade figure is legit. It wasn't Hasbro, it was one of the later lines that created it. Here's a better shot than what that eBay seller has:

I know the figure is legit but the e-bay seller is selling it as a vintage G.I. Joe figure, which it's not, and may make some collectors fully unaware of the figures released buy it.

The seller is just uninformed. I believe the company is Toy Island but I could be wrong. I know they did 5" figures, not sure about 10.

The seller has since changed the title and description, this topic should be closed. Thanks.
