Well in MKA the costumes were terrible. Why did the ninjas have such crappy outfits? Smoke looked good as did Sindel, Kitana, Cyrax, Jax, Sub Zero and Motaro. The rest however, were like you said, power ranger looking.

BUT I thought that everyone looked good in MK1. The ninja's outfits had dark colouring, not so fluorescent (sp?) just look at Reptile's green. So I don't know if they should change it entirely, but I think they should revert to a more realistic/dark feel, instead of the colourful, cheap looking, crap outfits they used in MKA.

I think the costumes in MK:A were a little too colorful and "power ranger" like. The costumes should be unique, but simple. For the characters from the netherhelm and outworld, the costumes should be more ancient and scary looking.

HUH! Shao Kahn DID NOT LOOK COOL! Not his costume, not his acting! He looked HORRIBLE. Shao Kahn shud have looked the same way he did in the end of MK1 (deep voice, scary, veins pooping out and evil) Shao Kahn in MKA looked pathetic

But yea, the costumes from People from edenia shud be like ancient types like with robes, egyptians, stuff like that....From outworld, they shud be scary and dirty looking...

Well, here are looks im hoping for characters

Kitana- Some kind of black bra type top with log sleeves and blue symbols engraved. She shud Have black pants with blue symbols on the side and her hair shud be straight and wavy.. She shud also wear some kind of cool necklace with a blue jewel, and shud have a mask on for a while....

Sonya- Nuthin from MKA! She shud have a cool pig tail with long blond hair and a hat....She shud wear her special forces top with a military jacket (like in MKA) and black pants.

Sindel- Since she probably wont be fighting that much, she shud wear a silver silk dress with all types of jewelry and she shud look very elegant. (she is a queen)

Mileena-The same way from MKD, she looks cool there and that costume isnt so colorful

Johnny Cage- Same way in MK1

I like those designs. But the only thing for Mileena that I advise is probably to have Talisa Soto play her. In MKA, Mileena looked nothing like Kitana. And she should take her mask off! That would be great! *that was a let down in MKA*

Actually for Mileena, i was thinkin that it'll be cool if they gave her a see thru mask/veil....that wud look cool!!!

ALL i wish that the ninjas would have DIFFERENT costumes!!! In MKA every damn ninja was in the same costume but only a color difference z:o

ex. Scorpion and Sub-Zero from MK:DA
Ermac , Rain etc etc etc from MKD

Scorpion's costume needs to be similar to the one in the first movie or like the one he has in Deadly Alliance.
Johnny Cage needs to get the gear he has for MK Trilogy.
Sub-Zero needs the costume from MKDA.

I also agree that they should not go overboard with the costumes for this next movie. I thought the costumes for the ninjas were not as believing as the first movie.
And If Quan Chi is in this next movie he needs to look like the game. BTW they did terrible job on Shao Khan in MKA. I don't think Shoa Khan was human. He was more like a dragon mixed with human character.

Well, in the MK2 pics, he did kinda look like a human. Also, Goro is half Dragon, half Human...

Shao Kahn did look like a human but there was a picture of him with his helmet off. he had like a dragon looking face. it was in I think the manuel of MKII or the Stradegy Guide for MKII.

Oh, I've never seen that pic. Is it on the internet?

Good luck, creating such a look for a movie, it would be a hell of a lot of work!!

From what I've seen, they did have that look for the first movie's Shao Kahn

Then you must have seen a different mk movie then me, Shao looked nothing like that.

Either way, he doesn't look human from the little you can see at the end.

When we talk about what the outfits/costumes for MK3... If the movie is to be based off MKDA, I think all the characters except for a few should look the way they do in their primary outfits. I think Quan Chi, Sub-Zero, Sonya, and Kung Lao should look the way they do in their alternate outfits.
I guess on the ninjas they could put more black on their outfits and less color.
