Yeah there are pictures that show the Sonya vs Kano fight was longer originally. It was probably cut short because of time on the movie.

are there anymore pics like these? can someone post 'em? i'd like to see the uncut version of that fight. sonya didn't get enough fight time.

I agree, i think both pictures of the fight things were shown in the movie, the first one for sure, it's right before she breaks his neck.
The second is a roundhouse kick were she almost fell backwards in the beginning of the fight.

but sonya only kicked kano in his abs area ONE time, right after she says 'oh yeah study this!'. after that, she only kicks him in the face. in that pick she's kicking him in his abs again. she doesn't do that in the movie. watch it.
you do get to see that second pic in the movie. as sonya's fight begins, the camera is high in the sky looking down at the fighting ring. you can see sonya doing that kick.

The first picture is a picture of the fatality, after she did the handstand and fell over.
The second is also in the movie, when she punhes kano in the stomach she kicks him backwards spinning, and that is that pic.

yeah, i know what those two pics are. i posted them just because i thought they were cool. i'm talking about the very first pic in the very first post. the one where she's kicking kano in the ribs. i've never seen that in the movie.

If you look at kano's head you'll see that it is kicked to his right side. That kan only be if he is kicked on the left side of his face, and the way sonya is standing leads me to believe that she did the spinning kick. If you look at that another million times you would notice that that particulair kick does feature in the movie.
I've seen those pics before! They're in the Mortal Kombat: The Movie Behind the Scenes book that I HAVE! I don't like to brag....but I couldn't resist. In fact, after I was done taking my PACT test section today, I read the story section and SAW THOSE VERY PICS!!! I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist. But I was wondering about that when I saw those pics.
