Robin Shou was a pretty poor Kang in my opinion. I'd rather see a host of unknowns play the characters with the possible exception of ninja characters.

..Jason Scott Lee would have been a better one back then.

Yes, agreed 100%. If you guys have seen an interview w/ him for "Red Trousers" he said he didn't even want to audition for Mortal Kombat, because to him it sounded "doofy"


And yes. He played an awesome Bruce Lee in Dragon, and would've been ideal for Liu Kang as he looked much more like Liu Kang from MK1 than Robin Shou. What's worse is JSL auditioned for the role of Kang, but they went for Shou instead.



I didn't know that, cool. He would be a great Kung Lao if they couldn't get Jet Li *which they wouldn't be able to*.
