For those of you following the Double Feature DVD sets of MK movies and their many slipcovers, you'll know that in the U.S. they have still been promoted as having both the full screen and wide screen versions, when in fact they only have the full screen version of the film.
WB has finally fixed this on the case artwork in a new Candian release but not for the U.S. Still, it's interesting to own for any Mk collector collecting foreign releases.
You can determine if a video you own is licensed exclusively for Canada by looking for two things:
1. An Alliance logo (the company authorized exclusively to sell this in Canada)
2. If the MPAA PG-13 rating is missing, because the MPAA doesn't rate Canadian films.
Sorry I just noticed I posted in the wrong forum, can someone move it? Thanks.
You can also tell if the presence of French language exists, usually right under the English translation. Candian releases are still Region 1 so they will play in U.S. DVD/Blu-ray disc players.
