Ok I'm putting it all on the table right now...which fatality from ANY Mortal Kombat video game would look the coolest on screen? Any Ideas.....?
My three favorites would have to be:
1) Kano's "open heart surgery" because of the way he would do it and just to see a heart on screen and the blood factor involved. A+
2) Kenshi's "telekenisis fatality" because he's a real mysterious character and for him to just lift someone off the ground and do that seems incredible to do with real people.
3) Scorpion's "heap rip fatality" is just something so gruesome, most of the time I've only thought of the spear going through an arm or stomach or heart, but the head?! then ripping it off?!?! awesome!

Your thoughts....

I would love to see fatalities, but there are reasons we won't, or at least won't see them as violent:

-to win as many people, the film must be consumable for 13 old kids- the MK and MKA movies are a good example.
-if they turn up violence, the movie must be at least up for 18 olds.

(MK was rated above 18, but they made it quite cheezy with the lack of relevant violence-they calculated that after the shows people will bring the casette home for their kids.)
