i enjoyed watching the fighting sequances in the first MK movie. they were cool. when i saw the fighting sequances for the second MK movie they were seriously poor( btw, there's a part where Jax kicks Motaro in the face and his foot didn't make contact to his face). now i know the matrix movies have nothing to do with MK, but i really liked the fighting sequances in all three movies.

so my question to you MK fans is.

what type of fighting style would you like to see in the third MK movie?

matrix style, MK1 style, or cheap douche fighting style from MK2:A.grin Please tell me your opinions.

MK1 of course. Alot more realistic and brutal than the Matrix's fighting scenes, which would just look cheesy in the MK world.

Actually, I was really REALLY impressed with fighting sequences in MK Conquest. Especially the fight between Quan Chi and Shang Tsung in the episode Flawed Victory.

Oh yeah, how could I forget. MKC had the best fights of all, no doubt. Even though alot of them featured re-used footage, it was hard to notice and the matches were always very balanced, fast paced, with ALOT of really original and rare martial arts moves. Those fights always got me pumped up, especially the ones featuring Reptile.

Well, if you ask me, then I would recommend the MK 1 style, but it must be added with more signature moves of the fighters involved. Some fatalities must be displayed, as in MK 1, we have only seen the fatalities of ShangTsung and an unsuccessful fatality attemp of Scorpion. smile

Okay... my vision of a good fighting sequence... Who has seen the movie "Drive," starring Marc Dacascos and Kadeem Hardison? The fights that Marc Dacascos did in that movie were coreographed by himself and a most known unknown director named Koichi Sakamoto. He should be the one directing the next couple of fight scenes, not Paul Anderson.
