I watched mk the movie and when you see the courtyard with the statues you see one statue of a person that is wearing a hood and his face is a skull. He's not the grim reaper if you pay attention to the rest of his outfit. And when i saw the first designs of noob for mkd it looked axactly the same. But instead the character became havik and the hooded costume is his alt. Id post a picture but i cant find one.
While that statue may be obscure, it wouldn't surprise me if it inspired Havik's appearance as it wouldn't be the first thing Midway took. Goro and Johnny Cage had no standing fued until the movie came about and people say that Kano's voice is modeled after what he had in the movie. I myself find it to be more of a slimey rat thing. I just don't hear the Australian. Am I alone on this one?
