How did he get out? I watched that and i was thinking how the hell?

I watched for clues throughout the rest of the movie but I found none so Im guessing its left up to assumption.

I think either he had some help from Raiden...or that there was some kind of tournament rule and he had some help from Shang Tsung in getting out.

When Scorpion exploded as Johnny Cage jumped away, he actually got caught in it and went flying so far up that he actually hit the bottom of earth and went through the crust and landed right back in the forest.

Personally I never ever looked at it as the Nether Realm, just Scorpion's lair in Shang's island. Why do people say it's the nether realm? Because there's skulls and fire?

Had the Netherealm ever been seen, even mentioned, in MK1/2 prior to the movie's filming? Then again, neither had UMK3 Scorpion's lair...

i think it was like i blew you up not i'ma exit your lair to the left and maybe he found a exit sign or he followed charlie the magic unicorn and they rode off happily ever after to the next scene when johnny like yeah i whooped that guy and he blowed up!!
