Although I do agree to some extent, there should be some good pacing in the film as well; Basically, people will want a good story, but not so much so as to comprimise the fight scenes. Take Elektra for example; Very good story, but not enough action for an 'action' film.

Basically MK3 needs a good balance between action and story, which is what the first film did good at. The second had too much action, but the story was greatly comprimised.

amen brother,

you couldnt of said it more clearer. I was clearly disappointed when I saw mka and thought if there would be another movie that could have the effect that the first one had. the music on mka was outstanding and was probably the only thing good out of that mess. the Mortal kombat franchise will be forgotten if no director steps up to the plate to direct and grab the essentials of the franchise. I hope that whoever directs the 3rd movie knows what he is directing, because this game has a lot of fans who want that bad taste of mka out of their mouths and have yearned for a movie that would rank mk franchise among best action movies of all time. lets hope that when the movie comes out it will attract more fans and newer ones as well.smile
