I'm starting to get a bad feeling about the 3rd MK movie.

The sites that have been posted here reveal some things about the plot that are just too close to the game. Just like MKA. They tried to get closer to the game and that ruined the movie. Cage being resurected is not a bad Idea but that is one of those ideas that can be easily messed up if no one is careful with how they do it. To top it off, The guy who directed MKA is the same guy who is directing the next one. I think this one just might suck, unless of course, the director got some sense knocked into him.....I really hope I'm wrong, so If you have something good to say with info to back it up...By all means, DO IT. I'd love to be proved wrong.
We'll, the director said he wants to reinvent the fighting genre, which is definaely ambitious... Most of the cast of the original is returning (minus Bridgette Wilson)... The plots are just rumors, but they focus on much less characters than MKA, which is a good thing.

I can give you a 91% guarantee that the movie will be crap. And I'm usually pretty accurate about this sort of thing.

Well, I actually did have a good feeling about it. I really thought that they couldn't sink lower than MKA but knowing that it is supposidly based mostly on MKDA, I'm starting to see how this could make the movie blow. MKA was based on UMK3 which was a bad idea because It was very much like the game. they might be making the same damn mistake now.

Those plots are god damn uh...RUMOURS. They're not official. Not Konfirmed.
Also, I do have a good feeling about MK3 because I think they recognized their mistakes as we could see in MKC.

Very true, But the same guy is directing it that directed MKA...well He could have gotten better since then...right?

Yes. Hopefully Leonetti learns from his mistakes and will make MK3 enjoyable. Annihilation was enjoyable as well, but not as much as MK and MKA seemed like a game. Take the beginning for example. Opening cutscene:The earth was created in 6 days, so to, shall it be destroyed, and on the 7th day, I won't sound so stupid anymore!
Kitana:Mother, you're a prostitute!
Sindel:Too bad you...will remain with that human Turkey!
Gameplay:Rayden vs. Shao Kahn
So on and so on. You see my point?

Yes it was ALOT like the game...which is why it SUCKED!

don't forget the costumes they were like the game too.

and so was the cinematography...

and the characters...

and the acting...

and the believibility...

and the setting...

Oh Hell! all they had to do was side scroll the whole thing and it would have been a damn game!!!!

Yeah, just make another adventure game like MK:M and MKSF but it might be a heck of a lot better.
