These movies should have been rated R... And fucking, MK 3 is gonna be rated PG-13. Why? So little kids can go see it. And It'll make more money. But they are forgetting that these movies are fucking based on SOME OF THE MOST VIOLENT GAMES EVER MADE!

Uhh dude, the movie isn't suppose to be the game. IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE A MOVIE. Plus, movies aren't here to entertain us, they are here to make money.

Well I guess I'd like to know how the hell are you so sure that MK3 will be rated pg-13?

btw, pg-13 i assume means no spine rips, decapitations, or any general dismemberment. Does it mean no blood too? Maybe they'll be an 18 rated director's cut or something.

They can cut it out of the movie, but it can be in the video/dvd :)

I thought the movie would be starting about this time and I'm glad it is because the suspense is killing me. About the PG-13/Rated R thing...The first movie was PG-13 and it did fine, actually it was awesome. The Mortal Kombat 3 movie will most likely be PG-13 because they've used that tactic for a while and I'll be suprised if they don't stay with it. And sure the movie will probably be less gory and violent, but if they cast the right people, have a strong storyline, and great fight sequences, then the intrigue will make viewers forget about all the blood and have them reeling for more of the important stuff than the guts and blood, anyways if you want blood and guts, just watch the ER. If you want good and tasteful martial arts, then I believe the next movie will be the movie for you.
