who else realized that when shao khan hits rain with his warhammer he flies into the fire pit. also when liu kang hits the tarkaten into the fire pit while hes saving kitana you see rain again

Yes, it's true. You have to put it in slo-mo to really see that when Liu Kang knocks Baraka down from Kitana's cage, it is in fact Rain going into the fiery ring pit. Also, if you look at it again, you will see that it is a skip frame from when Rain plummets out of sight, and then the fire rises. No one is really getting burned.
