Hi all,

It seems that only Kombat and I are contributing content that has never seen the likes of the Web. While I am sure the lot of you are thankful for our endeavors, neither one of us wants to spend the money to obtain every MK item that needs scanned. There are currently things that need scanned or even uploaded. From searching on the Streetfighter Web sites it appears the MK fans are not as dedicated as the SF fans.

To keep Mortal Kombat alive, we must contribute what we have. We need scans of everything possible - packages, bio cards on packages (like toys), box art (like the Ultimate Guide to MK), any and everything. The scans need to be very closeup, on a digital camera. I definitely want the MK movie magazine and MK3 Kollector's Edition scanned.

C'mon folks, in today's world where technology is fast and automated there is little excuse to not do this. It took me 4 hours to scan an MK book - I did something else during those 4 hours because my scanner was set to automatically feed those pages. You can easily spend time with your families or whatever during this time - after all, Gen Y is supposed to be good for multi-tasking.

I was able to manage full-time school and work at NASA while maintaining other projects - it's not a big task, you may just have to not "elope" so much.

If anyone wants me to scan the MK3 Kollector's book, TUG2MK box art, the MK Movie magazines, and don't mind me unbinding them, I will pay for shipping back to you (but not to me as you should share some obligation since I'm making it available for the world) as well as the 3-ring binder and sheet protectors for the covers and pages (just a sheet cover for the TUG2MK CD box art for obvious reasons).

But please, help us. I'm really not asking too much.
