the new director mink directed (full clip) (and into the sun) and this is what critics had to say about the movies im not going to sit here and right a hole list of reviews so i will post the most disturbing review of all that would effect what mk 3 will look and feel like i put brackets on the most important parts of info that will effect mk 3 heres the review:

It's the billion dollar formula, the cop on his last investigation, loses his new bride to bad guys and swears revenge. You hope there's something new, in the flair, the setting, or maybe the bad guys. Not in this movie. The grouchy FBI boss was toothless, the rookie recruit wasn't likable and the wife didn't even get to struggle.

(The bad guys weren't believable or scary, and neither was the violence.)

Steven has slowed down a step or two, looks more like David Carradine. Maybe they expected Steven's competent Japanese to give him character.

(The violence was cheap, very cheap. No one dies in any exciting way.)

(The blood is so terribly fake).

A movie about Yakuza and made by Yakuza Productions Inc.

Well, personally, I haven't seen the movies. I don't care what critics say, they bashed the first MK movie, they bashed Resident Evil, and tons of other movies I liked and they hated. So I don't really care about other people's views.
Make no mistake, I'm not saying this is a good director we have here. I really wish it wasn't him. But I'm just saying, learn to think by yourself. Don't listen to critics. Ever.

I don't trust critics, either. Most of them only understand dramas & true stories. They just can't enjoy actions or sci-fi's when most of them were pretty damn good!

I don't really listen to anyone but my clone. Buuut, since I don't have a clone, that leaves no one. I just hope they have a GREAT director to make up for MKA. Known or unknown, doesn't matter.
