Not sure why you'd compare Game of Thrones with Mortal Kombat. I for one would love a Mortal Kombat board game, but I understand why it doesn't exist. The franchise doesn't have a third of GoT's popularity, and usually when you think of Thrones you think about strategy, schemes, commanding armies and forging alliances, the day to day of a strategy board game.
Mortal Kombat is ninjas ripping each others' heads off.

I've been working on a card game for (what feels like) forever. Actually since MKA, when i realised that so many characters would make for a good card turn-based game.

The difficulty comes with balancing issues, what to include, what to cut out, how to make it feel as close to the videogame as possible, creating rules and then finally creating the cards themselves. (That's not too difficult there's a website i know with templates for that sort of thing, but still it requires design finesse).

A board game sounds intriguing, and i like the Risk-style idea.

i would love to have a MK board game.
