Techno Syndrome wasn't created for the movie. The Immortals album came out about the same time MK1 did on the home systems. It predates the movie's production by a year or two.

I imagine the devs just find it old and worn out at this point.
Plus, where would you put it? A menu screen? Character select? It doesn't actually fit the tone of ANY of the games.
The closest any of the games come to techno being appropriate is MK3 and even then it still lacks the gothic edge that game had, the song's voice samples name only the cast of MK1 so it's not even accurate, and unless Dan Forden happens to invent the Flux Capacitor, it's a little too late to add a song to a game that was made in 1995 now.

Well,he can always get one of the guys in the office to brain him with a pipewrench or something so he can send a message back in time to his past self and unravel the fabric of reality in the process.
Wait a minute...

Nah, to invent the Flux Capicitor, you have to hit your head in the bathroom and have an epiphany. Everyone knows that.

If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious shit.

Doesn't anyone want to bring Techno syndrome back?

yes but it seems we'll have to deal with this electronica using electronic instruments with a cyberpunk feel

Techno Syndrome is the most iconic piece of music ever associated with the franchise.
If to this day it hasn't made its way into the actual games,I reckon there must be a very good reason for it.

It's an extremely 90s beat, even though it is iconic (and awesome to me, to this day).
Also, it really does not fit the overall mood of the series.
