Mortal Kobat?
I got the DVD today, and I must say it's quite a disappointment, here's a crappy little mini-review for those who are thinking of buying...
The Movie
I'm not going to review the movie because I'm too lazy, but the picture quality of the movie is pretty good, especially in the lighter scenes showing the great locations/scenery. The darker scenes seem to be a little too dark, and the contrast a little too high, but it's nothing major. It's not too soft and not too sharp.. a little grainy here and there but still nothing major.
The 5.1 surround sound is great, especially during fight scenes with the loud soundtrack or the moody scenes with softer, darker music.. always watch the movie with your speakers loud.
Special Features

Unfortunately this DVD is very lacking here. The only thing we are treated with is a trailer, which can be seen with a quick search on google.. they could have at least thrown in the bios from the US DVD, and the behind the scenes from whatever country it was that got that.
DVD Artwork
The cover is nice and simple, nothing over the top or too plain. The back could do with a little spicing up but it's fine as it is. If you don't wanna look at the disgusting Aussie rating logos, you can flip the cover around - but the back is different and has the chapter listings instead of the blurb which is kinda ugly.

Final Thoughts
Unless you don't care about anything and just want the movie right now, go pick this up right away. I haven't got the US version myself, but from what I have seen it's probably worth getting instead of this if you can play any region DVDs. It has more features, and is probably much cheaper to buy new on ebay. I don't know how good the picture is but I guess it's probably the same.
Movie:6.5/10
Picture:7/10
Sound:8/10
Features:2/10
Artwork:7/10
Overall:5/10
I'm sure the company getting all the money is laughing 'Fatality' at us. Let's hope for a 'Flawless Victory' version in the future.

Yea i reckon the DVD cover looks mad.
I do have the US version of MK though, although the DVD itself is very bad, its double sided and the case is poor. Sux there is no special features ay.
I think i might get the Australian version just to make sure. Its my fav movie of all time so i dont really have a choice.
Go Mortal Kombat movie 4 life!!!!!!

This is an Aussie thread, and I'm pretty sure we don't get Gamestop here.
