By the way, what the fuck is Robin talking about, Prequel of Prequel? When was the first prequel?

Having recently acquired Mythologies, I reckon it is an awesome move. A story which revolves around 5 characters - Subby, Scorps, Raiden, Shinnok, and Quan Chi, with some great action PLUS the chance to bring to a close Conquest as the story mentions Kung Lao I believe. To see the Elementals in action will be a sight to behold. As will the Scorpion - SubZero fight to open the movie.
It'd be great to see Silk Manning (as a Shaolin Monk), Daniel Bernhardt (as Fujin), and Amy Jo Johnson (as Sereena). As well as Jeff Meek, Bruce Locke, and Adoni Maropis.
So who are other people's choice for cast?
As for Robin Shou, I say it's just sour grapes. His performance in Annihilation left a lot to be desired, as did his fight scenes (c'mon, Rayden and the Raptors was one of the better ones), plus it has been 10yrs since the last movie, age catches up on people.
Going for a lower name cast does little to affect the quality of the movie, Conquest was great in the absence of true stars, while Robin Shou isn't exactly a high profile name.
Also, this means that the third (fourth) movie won't be out until 2009 at best, which is a dozen years since Annihilation by which time MKA will have been forgotten about and thus it can carry on.

Omfg. This is going to suck. I can tell already. Oh god. Great way to disappoint everyone. And what the hell is with that skull point? He didn't do anything...

This will rock, I laugh at the people who have this movie failing already like the ones who have MK:A failed yet it's NOT out yet lol.

Although I was disappointed at first, it doesn't automatically mean a mediocre movie really.Come on.

I'm liking this idea, just please, please bring back Christopher Lambert as Raiden.

Either him or Jeff Meek, perhaps Meek could play Fujin.I would love that.

Maybe Liu Kang wil not be interpreted by Robin Shou,but by another actor(a chinese actor with long hair is enough)and maybe just like johny cage in the second movie will die after few minutes at the start of the movie at the hand of the Deadly Alliance.
The movie can't be a prequel for two reasons:1) Linden Ashby and Cristopher Lambert have already sign their contract and they are confirmed on the production of the movie,and Johnny cage have nothing to do with Mythologies!
I think that the main hero will be Sub Zero but will be in also kung lao,Sonya,Jax and Johnny cage,Kitana and maybe frost(a traitor?) and the movie will end with the respwon of Onaga and Zombie Liu Kang will defeat the Dragon King rescuing his comrades and saving Earth.
