I think it whud be based a little on MK Gold and MKDA.....Since Shinnok was sent to the netherrealm in the end of MKA, they shud start it with Quan Chi beating up Shinnok and killing him in the nether realm....then they can show Quan Chi getting the amulet and getting his alliances. So then it can be based on MKDA, and they wud forget about MKA and MK 4.....Now, there are characters that are important in MK4, so wat they can do is still put them in the story, but tweak it a little.....For example: Kitana had a small story in MKDA, so wat they can do is bring in Mileena so that her story can get better (since mileena was in mk gold)...so yea, it shud have elements ok mk gold, but be based on MKDA...

I'd like it to be mostly based on MKDA and some things original. For instance, we can't bring back Kano or Shang Tsung, or say that Shao Kahn had survived. We can't bring back Goro, say that Mavado killed Kabal, etc...

yeah they should really use the story line from DA. i don't like the idea of quan chi bringing shang stung back ( and it'll never happen cause quan chi is one of those I-WORK-ALONE dudes ) and besides no1 really likes shang stung much. they could take some characters from mk4 like noob sibot, fujin, tanya, raiko, and the rest should just be DA. the directors better not mess up on this one. mk2 pretty much sucked. at least the effects were better
