Its about damn time. If it starts this August...then it will most likely be out the earliest is 2006? Giving it just enough time to do the job right in regards to acting, editing and special effects. I think. Anyone have any ideas how long it will take for the movie to actual make it to theatres if there is no more delays?

Unfortunately, it's already got the makings of another MKA; a low budget, and probably a PG-13 rating.

Well with the return of Christopher Lambert and Ashby and from what ive heard the original production team, we might see the popularity of this film exceed that of its predecessors combined.
And also with a low budget and a M 15+ rating (Australia, the same as PG 13) look how the first came out, and i'd like to know one person who didn't like the first film

I LOVED the first one i watched it like 3 times the same day i loved it and was excited to see they made a movie

If filmin does begin in August do you think we will see a teaser for it when Blade 3 is released (Dec. 10th)? It should be enough time to at least have some filmin done....right?

I'd love to see a teaser, but I think it may be a bit more time before we see anything. As long as it's good (like MK1), not bad (like MKA), I will be happy to wait before seeing anything.

This Dec 10th...I seriously doubt it, maybe a teaser in Dec 2005 if we're lucky. It takes time to film, add special effects, edit, etc. And that's if they don't shelve it for a while to wait for a time they think it will make more money.

Why would you doubt it? They already did a teaser for Chucky 5 (Seed of Chucky) and they just started filmin on that....They could do something I mean between August even late Nov....thats like 3-4 months...they could have something by then....

Do you want quality or speed. I do believe there is a bit of difference between a Chucky movie and MK. Or at least I hope there will be.

I know what you're sayin....but they don't even really need footage....just maybe a new MK opening like MK2 the game where the MK symbol was in the clouds and the lightnin revealed the symbol but have the lightnin bolt make a "3" and then say "Coming Soon"

In that case, there might be a trailer...but I still doubt it. Don't ask me why, just a feeling.

I like the idea, of a teaser - like ReikoJr's idea. But like LadyRaiden, I believe we wont see anything for a while. Definately nuthin til summer '05 imo...

well...if it films in August (Big If I know) then it should be out by Summer 05....maybe in August like the 1st MK movie....but I guess we'll just have to wait and see....

if its filming in august the earliest release will be October-December 2005 or early 2006

i doubt that they would release it that late because they are doing it so low budget and the special effects will be as weak as mka (shudders)

so hopefully the film company will give more money for they can improve on the film.........hopefully it wont

are you guys all insane! They have been saying they are going to start filming there and then for 3 years! The value of the info is about as worthless as the movie will be if it turns out like MKA. Good God!!!

i heard it was coming to theaters in 2005
