MKA is Canon
I already did answer my question. Another reason why MKA is canon is because it continues the story from the first movie. I so happy that I'm a buffed up martial artist with a college degree. And I got a hot wife! Oh sorry that I'm bragging. But after all I'm having to explain what "canon" means to a bunch of nerds who jerk off to Melina.

I love that we're all nerds because you're wrong.
You might understand what canon means, but you clearly don't understand what MK canon is or you don't know the storyline as well as you think you do.
The video games, excluding MK:Shaolin Monks and MK: Special Forces, are canon. They are the official storyline. The three comic books written by John Tobias are part of the official storyline.
Everything else...both movies, the TV show, the cartoons, the Malibu comics....are not part of the official storyline. They are considered a seperate storyline, not related to the official games' storyline, and are therefore NON-CANON.
Case in point: Jade.
In the official CANON storyline, she was forced to choose between betraying Kitana or turning against Shao Kahn. She sided with Kitana and has been on her side ever since.
In the movie's NON-CANON storyline, she has no relationship with Kitana, tried to betray everyone, and was killed by Kahn.
Just one of the many ways the movies' story differs from the games.

Also another point....
In the games: Scorpion is NEUTRAL, neither good nor evil. He's only out for himself.
In the movies: Scorpion is EVIL, apparently in the first movie because he's been enslaved by Shang Tsung, but in the second movie after Shang Tsung is killed, Scorpion is still on Shao Kahn's side despite being freed. MK:A has contradictions with the first movie....
So let me put to you this way... MK:A is a piece of crap that should best be left forgotten by everybody...

Except that the first movie wasn't canon. If it had been in the canon storyline, then Kano would've lived, Liu Kang would've defeated both Goro and Shang Tsung, and JC, Sonya, and Kano would've joined together to face-off against Goro.

Dude, that was weak. A buffed up martial artist with a college degree, but cannont explain the whole canon idea. because what you did was clearly evading the question.
If a nerd means that I love MK and knows what canon is....then yeah, i'm proud to be a nerd. And another thing. it's MILEENA, not Melina, keep popping those steroids, they make you "smarter".
