I hope alot of you guys do watch this. It's fun and Kung Lao even plays an instrumental version of "Techno Syndrome" before the actual song plays at the end with Simon McQuiod (hilariously) dancing in place to it.

All were present except Scorpion, Jax, and Lewis Tan; and of course Nitara and Kabal were also absent. Jessica McNamee appeared to be having technical issues and was seen very little.

We learn a couple things about the movie here!

  • Joe Taslim praised the fact the trailer doesn't show us all the movie and that we're going to be surprised when it comes out on April 16 (I felt like I was a watching a wrestling shoot interview for one of their PPVs lol).
  • SiSi, who has a very strong Australian accent (stronger than Josh Lawson, who has a strong one in the film) acknowledged many fans were so obsesses and excited they screencapped alot.
  • Simon McQuoid acknowledged what fans pointed out: Kano's eye laser was indeed on the wrong eye because, as many of us pointed out, that footage was flipped. He said he flipped it for the aesthetic of the cut and Simon was like "We know, chillax"
  • Ludi Lin said Simon kept rewriting the script and put a lot into it to make sure it has a beginning, middle and end. They also mentioned how it was very detailed and how fans had a very good attention to detail. This was important because there are a lot of characters with their own storylines.
  • Ludi Lin, although he did not specify, acknowledged one of the fatalities is a post-credit fatality and loved the fact it appeared in the trailer. To this Kung Lao said, "There's many, many more."
  • Josh Lawson wore the eye makeup for about 4 months and even he missed the fact the footage showed the laser coming out of the wrong eye. From my experience working in modeling, whenever you show a model laying on her side or standing on their side, you always want the arm or leg to be extended because it's the farthest away from the camera - if the closest one is seen, it's too close to the camera. That's what they done here.
  • Kano's "fucking beauty" line was well-received by the cast who found it funny as Josh smiled with pride.

Overall, as they were watching the trailer, they were very excited and appeared shocked at some of the fatalities' gore. You could tell this movie took a toll on them since a few were quick to make quick jabs towards the fans; i.e. Sisi pointing out fans (like myself) who took screencaps "of every second" and Simon acknowledging how they worked so hard on it he had to leave Twitter, the first time a filmmaker publicly acknowledged their poor treatment by toxic fans.
