I am still trying to find the original source where this account screencapped these from but they appear official:

Also on this fan's account is a trailer of the movie captured in a movie theater. Now in today's world doing this is kind of pointless unless they happened to show a different trailer and considering there are a slew of MK trailers and TV spots floating around it's safe to assume WB could pull a trick like that. Why it matters is because we know from past posts on the Internet there indeed were teaser trailers to the 1995 film that only appeared in theaters. One is pretty much the MKII animated dragon logo with some kind of reference to the 1995 film, this has never been found. The other was a teaser that played before Streetfighter. That trailer is known as the Mortal Kombat 35mm Trailer on Youtube, although I own another version of it on a 35mm reel that appeared slightly different copyright screen.

Anything about Kitana appearing in the film is still speculative. It's already established in the lore that Mileena is a clone, not a twin, of Kitana. Difference is Mileena is made in a lab using Kitana's DNA while a twin is born.

i kinf think milleena will just be clone of kitana not neccary her twin which mean they can cast whover they for want kitana without without milleena being her twin this also i was reading some old bios as yeah millena never meant to be kitana twin sister just a clone shao kahn the one gave her as a twin role

I think it’s just better if they leave out the word clone and let the movie explain Mileena’s origin to prevent confusion. Clone commonly means to make close to identical, a twin essentially. Making this kind of description in a bio will just confuse everyone.

Yep! Because is she is a CLONE must MUST be played by the same person, but if she is a TWIN she can be played by anybody with some similarities, kind of like Dana Hee / Talisa Soto in MKA.
