Great, I loved this series.

The ending was spot on, Shao Kahn was intelligent, as a ruler should be.

All things can be explained, like there being Sub-Zeros, Scorpions and Noob Saibots before (the last 2 are after all creations of the Netherealm, someone could have had the title before, not just in our lifetime).

QFT! Shao Kahn was a badass I must admit. He was really clever and one of the things I liked was that he was evil, but for me, well rounded. Even in the ending he showed a bit of remorse for Kitanas death and throughout the series he showed his love for her. Not whatever that MK9 excuse was.

Also the talk between Raiden and Him was amazing. He came off so sinister and intelligent. The fact that the actor played him and Raiden is just awesome

I saw this image in a magazine, the woman on the right is supposed to be Kitana.

Ohh. It sort of looks like it could be the short-lived original actress. Obtuse shot, but at least the character choice would make sense.

Even though this has been out in Australia for 10 years or so, I misplaced my copy moving a few years back witch sucks, and JB HI FI has told me it was deleted for new copies... I am hooping that as the USA will be released that we will get the same copy re-released so to speak esp if the sound is 5.1 dolby this time.

The magazine stated so, her looks appears to be the same as the show + the mask. It was a very early promo image as far as I could tell, but the magazine definitely specified her as Kitana.

...oh really? Would you mind getting a picture for comparison? Because it doesn't look a thing like either Kitana actress to me.

I'd buy this just because it's mk. I haven't watched it all just some of the beginning. After all I did buy both movies lol

I don't own the magazine, I've read it on Barnes and Noble over a decade ago when it came out and remember seeing that picture there (although it was longer in height). The magazine stated that's Kitana.... Honestly I'm not sure why you're so surprised about this, she's wearing the exact same attire as her MK2 appearance, except in black which was the case in the movies/TV series. Honestly what other iconic figure wears a mask and headband other than Kitana and Mileena?

And you're right btw, it doesn't look like either actress so I'm not sure why they used it to begin with....

This came out last week. I got my copy.

Random observations:

-Warrior Eternal is 2 separate episodes. The second part includes the full recap, etc.
-The bumpers before each commercial break are included (usually showing a quick upcoming scene)
-The picture quality is very good especially considering that 6 episodes are crammed onto each disc. It’s obviously still DVD quality but I’ve seen no noticeable issues.
-The sound is stereo.
-A folding insert is included listing the episode information (original air date, writer, etc).
-It’s housed in a standard sized DVD case with two “pages” to hold the 4 discs.
-The disc art is pretty basic. Each disc is a different color. Not bad looking though.

I’ve watched 5 episodes so far and am quite happy with the set. Hopefully Defenders of the Realm gets a US release but I don’t see that happening. Then again, I never expected this to come out.

Got the 5 Disk Collection but the 'Shadow of a Doubt' episode wasn't included (wanted to see what Rain's up to). I surmise it'd be similar to the MK: Conquest complete series or it's on the 6 Disk Collection (which I didn't know existed).
