Well i've chatted to some good folks over at Australlia and they say that the DVD's have been out there for about a month. after hearing this i went over to Ebay to check out where the dvd's are being sold from. and most of them said region 2. so this means both region 2 and 4 (region 2 being europe and region 4 being australlia) have recieved these DVD's. Now we're region 1 so I'd imagine that we would have these dvd's first but this was not the case as far as i've come to know. so for anyone out there from region 1, do u know if the dvd's are out? if so where? and if not when will they be out? any info regarding the dvd's would be very helpful.

There's 6 DVD's available in the UK, the first of which, that compiles 6 episodes (the first two episodes, the two episodes with Sub Zero, the first with Omegis and the one with Master Cho) has been out here since 1999.
The other 5 have been released slowly over the past 2 years. Entitled Quan Chi, Queen, Black Dragon, Final Battle and Kreeya; each of these have 2 episodes on each... meaning we just need 3 more DVDs to complete the series.
Hopefully these will be released in 2004. The best site for info on all these DVDs is http://hot.ee/mortalconquest/index.htm.
There's even four exclusive MKC DVDs available in Finland, 'Dark Shadow', 'Taja Exterminator', 'Taja and the Black Dragon' and 'Taja and the Final Battle' - the latter three of which were all released to capitalise on Loken's role in T3. The only one which is different from any UK DVDs is Dark Shadow, which includes Shadow of a Doubt.

What u can do is buy the pal version, and watch it in your cpu monitor. if u wanna watch it on tv, the best think u can do is hook it up with the cpu; u must have a good 3D card to do that (mine is a Radeon 9600). That's what I do and the quality is amazing; it's exactly like watching a dvd on tv, only it's not.

good idea. however there are two things wrong with this:
1. I don't have a DVD player in my computer.
2. I don't buy things through the net for security reasons.
maybe one day when I move out and get a new computer I could do this but until then I guess I can only wait for (if they ever will be) them to be released over here.

I got my dvd's from blackstar UK, so you have my word that it's secure, I bought tons of dvdz from there and I never had problems.
I suggest looking for alternatives to play PAL dvds on your television. I'm pretty sure there's a cable or something that will convert it, but you'll most likely have to buy it from the net. Hope that helps.

OK. It would have been nice to put some interviews or even scripts or something but oh well.

0
true... maybe they'll do that in an american version if it's ever released, seing how extras are popular and are now a standard in dvds.

0
Dont count on them doing extras if they're ever released in the US - from all the European releases, its clear the only people who've been releasing them are low-budget B-movie labels, who dont include any extras with their actual real movies... so dont expect anything for a cancelled TV show.

mkr can u put the episodes on kazaa? that way everyone would have them and no one would have to go hunting for them. also you could put them on your site for pubilicity purposes. ive asked all around for them on the kazaa messageboard and all they tell me is to get a nother P2P program which is practicly impossible to work around.it would be a real treat if u did. but if u cant i understand perfectly.

No I won't put it up... I didn't buy my dvd so other people can get their hands on it for free, sorry. Just purchase it, their incredibly cheap; You can get 2 episodes for $5.00 now, so I don't see what the big deal is.
Just go here to get em.

You guys might be interested to know, that there aren't any MK Conquest DVDs in Australia to my knowledge. As far as I've been able to tell, the UK is the only English speaking country/region to have them.
Since I don't import DVDs, this means I'm stuck without them. Although, if the DVD episodes aren't arranged in sequential order, I don't think there's much point to them.
We do however have Defenders of the Realm on DVD, and also Mortal Kombat Annihilation. For some reason, the first movie isn't available on DVD.
NOTE: My information is based on searches from the last two years or so, some things may have been available at prior occasions, and therefore were too old to be found.

Well im Aussie and im a DVD Importer and I have tons of Information to share. They are sold here, for $21 aus ea. they are Imported from the UK. They are watchable...but definatly not and official MK Product. In fact...there is spelling errors, missing footage...incorrect episode numbering and cut credits from the episodes.
because they are cheap, they are worth the purchase...but hopefully Threshold will get off there ass's and release the real deal.
BTW: my MK DVD
Regards,

Regards,
A friend of mine gave me this 'code' so I could just turn my DVD player into a multi region one. I had to like, push left, right, left, enter menu, shit like that. I felt like I was trying to put in some sort of crazy videogame cheat code.
He told me there are codes like that for almost every DVD model thing etc, whatever. Tell me your DVD player's brand and whatnot, and I'll see what I can do.
On a sidenote, I'm planning to put my MKC episodes on kazaa. First, I just gotta figure out how.
