I am posting this message to urge this site to start a petition to bring mortal kombat conquest on to dvds that can be viewed in the US. The show was really good and if enough signatures are on it, it will show the producers that money can be made on it eventhough its been a while since the show last aired. This was recently done for the Lois and Clark show and it will be finally released in 2005. If we show there is money to be made then the show will be released on DVD. I ask this website to start up this petition and post it on their site. Thank you.

I would sign such a petition. Esp since the region free DVD player I got off of Ebay was a piece a crap. I need to save my pennies to buy a new one and then order the DVD from the UK otherwise.

guys u dont need to, just by the uk one and decrypt it usin dvd decrypter and search for a tutorial(will post if i find it) to edit the ifo files on the dvd to make it think that that it is an american dvd..thats it!

But it's not the whole series though.
It's barely half. They mix up the order of the episodes, they chop, nip and tuck episodes to make them into ONE, and overall it's just a shoddy job. Don't get me wrong, it's better than nothing, but Come on. Who are you to deny the US would do a better job? :P We'd at LEAST get extras and Sub titles and a better chapter division, not to mention no CUT JOBS.

Great it looks like we are getting some support. Does anyone know what would need to be done the get this website to start such a petition? Any thoughts or ideas on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps someone should ask this question to Boon on fight night tonight. I wont be able to since I wont be around at 8 so if someone could ask if Conquest can be released on dvd that would be great.

I e-mailed the people responsible for this site asking them if they could start this petition for us. They havent responded yet but I will keep you guys posted on whats going on.

I sent the e-mail to this site a few days ago asking them to start this petition but I havent got a reply yet. I am going to send the e-mail to them again and hopefully get a reply. If you want to you can get their e-mails through this site and perhaps if more of us ask for it, the quicker they will respond.

Please stop e-mailing the Webmasters here; having MKO post a petition to restart the series won't do a whole lot of good since Midway isn't in direct connection with Threshold Ent., and Threshold doesn't seem to take much interest in our site. Therefore your petition would just sorta sit here... Collecting names... slowly..... and that'd be it.
So please stop e-mailing the Staff with Requests for a petition. There are other ways to get it done, it just takes a little bit of research on your part.

Is there a way to send a petition to Threshold Ent ? Perhaps get a list of names here and then send it to them. Or perhaps start an email drive to Threshold?

I really dont know all the details of what needs to be done to get this petition sent to the people needed to release the dvds. Thats why I asked this site to host it, being a mortal kmbat site it would generate intrest with mk fans to sign it. It would collect signatures and then send it to the people responsible to see it. That was my idea but if anyone knows of a better way to get this done I would love to hear it. Serioulsy any thoughts or ideas on the subject will be greatly appreciated.

I have tried a year ago contacted newline bout it and said they have no plans at all to try to make boxsets or even individual sets of the show.... I really really want to come here... but in the meantime i got the dvds from ebay... which doesn have every episode... and it doesnt follor the show in order in which i was hopin...
ne ways... I'll sign to help you out.... maybe your petition gets noticed....

i have never actually seen the show but if it was put on dvd i would probably buy it. along with the cartoon because when i was younger i think i liked it.

How were you able to contact newline? Also is their anyone else we could contact like Midway or someone like that? We also need a website or something to host our petition. I guess we could use Yahoo groups to host it but it would limit our span to only Yahoo mail users. Any thoughts or help you guys can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I'd sign it. I can barely remember the show, but I used to watch it. Id love for it to come on, even with the funny voice acting and such. Ive been looking to find it on DVD, I didnt know it wasnt available. That sucks, Id definently buy it. Anyone know where I can get some episodes? That petition online site is a great place to host the petition. I will set it up later today and we can start getting signatures. All I need now is a list of people who I should send the signatures to. Basically who would profit from the sale of these DVDs? Thanks for you help guys.
