The show Lois and Clark is going to be released on dvd in 2005 because of a similar petition. Once the company realizes there is a profitable market for the product, they will have no reason not to realese it. It will take some work to get the word out though but we have done a great job so far.

Sounds good. If you passed the link to the petition through the letter I think it could work. The only problem is with that broad of a scope we might reach some people who would put some dumb things in the comments section just to be an ass. Like "MK sucks." which would sort of ruin the petition. But if we could limit who we send it to then it sounds like a great idea.

the only thing is if this does work (crosses fingers) then i hope very much that it is not the chopped up poorly edited version that region2 got. i hope its just individual episodes in a menue. id be happy with that

Has anyone tried to promote this at other gaming sites? IGN, G4TechTV (or whatever it is called now), Gamespot, etc. Or has anyone mentioned the petition at the other Mortal Kombat sites aside from the ones on MKO's network? I mentioned it in my MK: Conquest fanfics notes at fanfiction.net and included a link at my site (even though its not visited that much) but not sure how else to promote it.

I have went to some other MK boards, used Yahoo groups, and gamefaqs.com. It would be great if you guys could promote it on any other message boards you visit to get the word out there. Every little bit helps and I thank you guys for your help.

Someone wrote in the comments of the petition "How many times do I have to sign this" Please just sign it ONCE. Putting that in the comments ruins the validity of the petition. Thank you guys for your support.

Once we get to 800 im going to start e-mailing the petition to threshold so they know we are out there. Ill post the e-mail address here so if you guys want to do the same you can. The more e-mails various people send them, the more it shows the validity of the petition. Keep promotion up though guys. We can still add sigs even after we send it to theshold so there is no need to stop. Thank you all for your help in this matter.

At 800 im going to start sending it to threshold just so they know that their is a demand for it. I dont know if 800 will be the magic number that makes threshold agree to realese it so we still need to promote it to get as many signatures as we can. Only when threshold realeses a statement to us that the dvd is on the way, thats the only time we should stop promoteing the petition. Thanks again to all who have helped, this definitly could not have been done with out you.
