Mortal Kombat: Conquest was a TV show that aired from October 3, 1998 to May 22, 1999. It included 22 episodes in total. The show served as a prequel to the Mortal Kombat (1995) movie and followed the original Kung Lao as he fought alongside new characters like Taja while they tried to defeat Shao Kahn. The TV show also had Mortal Kombat characters like Raiden and Kitana who served as major characters throughout the series. The show is a great adaptation of the Mortal Kombat franchise. It was very popular at the time, but was canceled due to unexpectedly high budgets. I strongly recommend watching it if you enjoy the Mortal Kombat franchise. Characters like Kitana and Raiden are extremely well done, and the new characters are fun to follow along with.
