hi everyone, does anyone else think taja was really under used in the show, she never fought a main fighter like mileena or sub-zero, ok she and siro fought quan-chi once (short battle) thats it. plus did anyone else notice the tattoo on her back? in the episode 'flawed victory' its the dragon raiden has on his back (same place). is she raiden or shao-kahn's daugter?

I think Taja was overrated. And to be honest i'm glad she didn't fight any of the main caracters, because....wel....she couldn't fight. She looked nice and the tattoo wasn't noticed by me, i must pay more attention the next time i watch the show.
I think the show would have been better if Taja was left out, because she has nothing to do with the entire MK story

I agree that Taja was under-rated and should have been used more. I only saw her actually fight in the first episode, and the one against Quan Chi. There were hints of fighting when she kicked that one woman of Quan Chi's and again when the trio went against Queen Kreeya (sp?).
As for her not having anything to do with the Mortal Kombat story, huh the majority of the Mortal Kombat characters haven't even been born yet for the shows timeline. She and Siro were suppose to be to the 'great' Kung Lao as Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage are to today's Liu Kang. People he could call upon when he needed back up and where chosen warriors of their generation.
As for the tattoo, I never noticed it. Guess I'm going to have to go through the DVD's again and see if I can find it. However, I doubt she was related to either Rayden or Shao Kahn's daughter since we saw her father in the Kobalt mines of Shang Tsung but I could be wrong and it may have been a story plot they had planned for the second season that never made it.

You forget that all the fights are planned. It really shows that she hasn't done much martial arts. Siro on the otherhand is way better for this sort of thing because he did a few martial arts movies.
In the show she can kick everybodies ass, just because the writers would let her. It has nothing to do with her knowledge of martial arts

ok first off siro's lame, have you seen mortal conquest?that film sucks.
second they use stunt doubles anyway so it does'nt matter if kristana loken
does'nt do martial arts in real life.
the writers did'nt use taja s much as they should have,
just like sonya in the first film, both under used.
