There are several cast members who elude to there been additional fights and footage filmed. We first learned about this from Ludi Lin who suggested a Director's Cut would run 20 minutes. Lewis Tan revealed he had a fight scene with Kung lao. Sonya revealed there was more and that her fight with Kano was added last minute, unsure when. Ian Streetz (the guy who plays Rameriz and fights Cole in the MMA cage in the beginning) explained how his fight was actually longer.

Honestly, I really think fans will be more receptive to a longer movie with extended scenes that settle their pacing issues. Warner Bros. should do this for the 4K UHD and Bluray if they can stretch it. An Extended Cut literally made Ghostbusters 2016 that much better.
