The MKII logo is on the Wrestlemania ring canvas.

Also, I guess there's a cross-promotion of sorts:

A special promotion ties the Mortal Kombat II(2026) film to WWE, featuring a Fandango early access fan event in IMAX that includes a ticket to WWE WrestleMania 42 in theaters. WWE wrestlers Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston are partnering with the film for a meet-and-greet event. The film, a sequel to the 2021 Mortal Kombat, is scheduled for 2026.

Key details regarding the promotion and film:

  • WrestleMania Bundle: Tickets for an early access fan event for the Mortal Kombat IImovie in IMAX include access to a theatrical showing of WrestleMania 42.
  • WWE Partnership: WWE wrestlers Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston are participating in promotions.

Update: Michael Cole formally announced MKII's name, a graphic banner of the logo popped up on screen and about a 20 second spot summizing the new "Tickets on Sale" trailer, immediately followed the Becky Lynch /AJ Lee match.

This reminds me of when WCW had a PPV sponsored by a MK movie and the entire TBS Cyber Kombat event with WCW wrestlers.

Let's hopd Mortsl Kombat II matches the hype.
