You will LOVE how Kano gets his eye

Yes! It was awesome, but the '9:07' runtime is such a cheat as a minute, maybe more was devoted to a recap and the end credits felt like 2 minutes!
However, this episode IS pure win.

Loved this weeks episode!! I was expecting Jax to stab Kano in the eye or something but what he did was FAR more impressive. Definitely gave this episode a classic MK feel in terms of gore. Wasn't expecting that! They all did a great job! Can't wait for the next episode.

Y'know, an internet series doesn't really need recaps since the previous episode is always one click away.

Ok that was even better than the first episode! People complaining about lack of gore can rest easy. A heap of blood and an eye hitting the camera I think is a great sign for the rest of the series. Hopefully we still get to see more of Jax, Sonya and Kano.

The moment when Jax tear Kano eye appart was like "OMG!!!!". And it's interesting how they mention a back injury, so probably he will have the cyber arms to help him move instead of needing to rip his arms for that matter.

I can't wait till the next one!!

The hand-to-hand combat, the gore, the way Kano gets his eye and Jax gets his arms... all incredibly well done.

The only thing that could have made it better would have been Jax yelling, "Gotcha!" before that fatal punch!

Now... bring on some new characters!

Jax's and Kano's fight was fantastic. I actually WOW'ed at the eye scene (during the fight) and I had to playback 3 times to make sure it wasn't an illusion. That was epic.

Sonya is a badass. Loved how she shoots the guy while she's walking away like she owns that place and everyone on it. Too bad we don't see that much fighting from her like we do with Jax.

Stryker is fantastic.

Kano's surgery is AWESOME.

I am too busy playing the game right now, but, I just had to drop in to give my opinion on this episode. I can't wait for the rest.

EPIC WIN.

Since there wasn't a To Be Continued at the end of this episode, I think it's a good sign that the next one will focus on someone else. :D

One word....Awesome! Can't wait to see Episode #3. Now back to my MK game.

The series is progressively getting better. I really like a lot of the touches, such as how Kano got his eye implant. I'm still bummed out about the shortness of the episodes, but I'm glad we're getting something good. I'd like to see Stryker do some hand-to-hand fighting in an episode along with the usage of his nightstick.

I was wrong about this project.

I'm starting to wish this was a Special Forces web series instead of Mortal Kombat as a whole. I'm getting pretty into it.

Oh, and didn't Kano's monologue before getting whooped by Jax seem out of place? He made it sound like he had the upper hand, when that clearly wasn't the case.

The Kano/Jax fight would have been better if:

Kano gives his "I'ma torture you like Sonya" speech, and then keeps hitting Jax while dodging all of Jax's blows. Finally, Jax catches one of Kano's punches, and pulls him in close, giving him a "Gotcha!". Then he pulls back and socks Kano right in the face, knocking out his eye.

I'd have got chills from that.

I agree with you on that. It was a great episode, but it would've been better (and more MK-ish) if they ending the fight like that.

But I wonder. If Sonya and Jax were so badly hurt and they ran from the grenade, then ... how was Kano safe when he was unconscious and right next to it? Oh well.

M. J. White knows what he is doing that is for sure. Combat grin before playing Rock-em-Sock-em-Kano ftw. Possibly the best martial arts method actor. No flashy faux-martial arts movements, this is how it would look in the real life. I am absolutely hyped for the -cannot believe I am saying this- ninja square off.

I liked that episode.

Sonya was cool as expected. I really liked that actress.
Jax's fight with Kano was good. Though it had to many slow-mo in the end. But the moment when Jax punched out Kano's eye was awesome. It was just like how I imagined how Kano got his eye in the games.
Maybe NRS will make this Jax's Fatality in the next game? Simple and brutal.

I liked operation on the Kano's eye and Stryker's dialogue with Sonya. They hinted how Jax got his metal arms. Though in this MK'verse they seemingly will be like an exoskeleton rather than remplacement for the real ones.

Another thing - I agree with the guy who said that he liked to see MK: Special Forces the series. I really like this idea and those actors and I am interested in a more realistic side of the MK mythos.

It seems that the next episode possibly will be about Johnny Cage and Raiden.

Overall I liked both episodes and I hope somebody will join them to make a single one episode.
