Who said the trailer release and reveals were delayed? Is this an assumption?

Well... Todd Garner when asked on Twitter about trailer said: "We are all on stay at home orders. How would we make these teasers? Need editors, VFX, sound, music, mixing, printing..."

So here is my guess that we can expect some delay in trailer ot teaser release

Don't expect to actually believe them. Editing is a job that can be done remotely aka at home, especially when it comes to a simple teaser where the effects aren't exactly needed (unless this film is full CG then in that case it is). Once the editor is done he can send the footage off to the VFX guys then they can send it off to the music guys, etc, using high-end band-width Internet services. Not to mention graphic designers can be at work on the poster and the photogs prepping publicity photos.

Looks like we have confirmation that due to pandemic there is delay of trailer release...
