i remember reading in a egm magazine a while before the first mortal kombat movie that apparently the threshold filmed the movie, but when it came to showing it to the new line executives, the execs hated it and ordered it to be reshot. i think the magazine had a picture of the courtyard in it. does anyone else remember this story, and can anyone tell me if it is true

Although I'm not sure, I think what you're talking about IS the original film, they just delayed to make it better I'm pretty sure...

i dont think that was what it was. the only thing i knew about was the movie being pushed back from may to august 95 because they wanted to touch up on the special effects, make them look more better.
