Liu Kang-He has his moves and is a good character. But in the games it seems like he is a devote monk, and in the movie he was trying to start a new life and doesnt really care about anything but vengeance.

Sonya-Yeah she pretty much accuratly was portrayed in the movie. Macho and mean. In the seond movie she was played by a more attractive actress but her fights werent as hard core and she kinda got smaked around alot by ermac.

Johnny-He's full of himself. In the movie he had a love interst in sonya. He got rocked in mka and well he's just dead. I dont think they really messed with his character at all.

Jax-nothing wrong here. Although in mka he had the whole hip hop lingo and i just dont see that in him.

Goro-Who cares. He's ugly he kills some guys and then gets punched in the nuts.

Scorpion/Sub Zero- In the first movie they both work for shang tsung. I dont know why but they do. In the second movie they were horrible. They appear for five minutes. Kinda fight each other and dissapear. Just crappy

Reptile-I dont know why he's a 3 foot lizard in the first one. He does get humanoid at the and and beats teh crap outa liu. But he gets killed.

Shang tsung-Only big difference is the fact that he's not and old fogey in the movie.

Kitana- Wel she didnt reallt appear in the first game but is in the movie. In the second she doesnt reall do much but fight sindel. Thye picked a good actress though. Pretty hot.

Raiden-in the movie it seems he doesnt really care about humans at all and he just kinda enjoys the whole thing. He has a horrible laugh and after he does that or hits someone he apologizes. In mka he was kinda dumb and they gave him horrible lines. Big poopy. Not adapted well.

Kano-Greatest adaption ever! He gets completely owned by sonya and dies! Highlight of the character.

Motaro-He serves shao khan and i have no beef with his character.

Sheeva-Doesnt do much besides dying. Who cares shes dumb anyways.

Rain-Serves Shao Khan but gets killed by his master for not doing anything. Doesnt even get a fight scene.

Baraka-not even mentioned by name and falls into a fire pit. Pretty gay. Baraka rules!

Ermac-Serves Shao Khan and beats up sonya.

Noob Saibot-Ermac summons hin to help him beat up sonya. Not reffered to by name or even acknowledged as being who he is. Can only assume he's just a random spirit that makes up ermac.

Sindel- Under shao's spell but later becomes good. Not mistakes.

Shao Khan-In the game he's an uber tall and fit monster thing. in the movie he's an short muscle brained dorky bald human. He rarely wears he mask at all. He gets killed by Liu after haveing a stupid animality fight.

Nightwolf-Possibly the dumbest character in there. He's a smarmy hermit who teaches liu kang his animality. He dissapears and his no longer seen.

Jade-Betrays the good guys. Weird thing is is the fact that jades is black but in the movie she's asian. A rather ugly chik.

The cyber ninja's-There robot ninja's. For some reason they work for Shao Khan instead of looking for subby.

Animality's were made out to be some secret to beating shao khan but was really a just an overused term they thought would make super geeks go "Wow there usung animalites! Oh My Gosh!"

stryker and Kabal Were mentioned but mad no appearence.

Special moves were actually used. Like Sub's ice ball and ice clone. Jax did his ground pound and Shao Khan performed alll his moves.
