The statue ain ́t bad except for those DAMN TEETH!!!!!!!! I mean WTF???? Even Baraka's teeth look way better than these. Looks like Motaro just came out of the dentist's office. Come on Syco need to change those ASAP!!!!

I actually prefer the first face. The one where you just have MK9 Motaro in an MK3 pose. A mix of MK3 and MK9 Motaro in an MK3 pose with an original face design is just asking for a lot of mixed responses from fans. You can't please everyone so why even try? I say either go with MK9 Motaro or with MK3 Motaro but don't mix the two up as it's just strange.

I understand they wanted a mix of the old and the new, but they should have went MK9 on the armor and MK3 on the face. The thinner more devil like MK3 head would have worked much better IMO. I wonder if all the people who voted for him are gonna buy it now.

Well Im certainly not if the shoop da whoop face remains, imo they should indeed go mk9 armour + mk3 face..

Maybe if they read the complains they'll change it.

Come on guys, the sculpture is amazing, the face looks fine. It really isn't that big of a deal. Quit nitpicking so much.

It's not nitpicking when the face looks nothing like the actual character. Nobody is arguing that the overall sculpt is amazing, but if I'm gonna drop $300+ on a statue of a recognizable character, the face especially better be near perfect.

I normally don't buy sculptures at all, this is a unique and probably once in a lifetime thing I am considering to do (mostly because I suggested/endorsed Motaro). So it got to be near perfect to move me over the edge on purchasing something this expensive.

To have his MK3 face on this statue wouldn't make sense.

Would you make an MK9 Liu Kang statue in an MK3 pose with his MK3 face? No you wouldn't. Why not? Because it wouldn't make sense.

Or how about an MK2 Scorpion statue with his MK9 head? Because hey his MK2 costume is the best but his head looks so much cooler in MK9. Come on. It's silly.

My advice would be to go one way or the other like I said before. Draw the line at the pose. Don't add more MK3 things besides that.

No it's not. They always said it was gonna be a mix of MK3 and MK9 so we have no say in that. We can only try and provide feedback to make it as best as it can be. Clearly nobody has a problem with the sculpt or pose except for the face. So why is changing the one thing people don't like to the what they do like under Syco's plan or old and new design elements silly? I don't see what point you're trying to make.

If Syco said this from the beginning (that it would be a mix) then I think they just meant that it would be MK9 Motaro in an MK3 pose. This is what is seen in the photos of the first sculpt; it has MK9 Motaro's face.

After they showed those photos to the fans they started getting feedback from them and the face got changed to this and the horns were getting resculpt to resemble his MK3 ones and so forth. That's what I think I've seen happen anyway. But I may be wrong.

Whatever makes people happy is fine though. I think it's odd to have a statue which is a mix of various Motaro designs for the same reason I think it's odd to have, say, a Nightwolf statue which is a mix of his MK3 design and his MK9 design for instance.

After seeing all the "marketing" made by Mortal Kombat Online around the Syco, had the dissatisfaction of being "fooled" by Syco Collectibles. Bought in September/2012 to "SubZero Fatality Statue", scheduled for delivery in January/2013. We are already in August and received come month after month the excuse "next month I send, is in production."

It is very sad that. Since only bought because it appears here in the Mortal Kombat Online, site I always had full trust. In fact, I had. I was very frustrated with it, especially with the simple excuse "Sorry" given. Paypal does not refund for items long. That is, I lost my money? ... No more ...

Sycocollectibles lost the MK license. The CEO is currently missing, all emails and inquiries to customer service has ceased, all refund requests have been ignored, and most distributors and customers alike are seeking legal action against these crooks.
