Hey, didn't really see these posted anywhere, so I'm not sure if a lot of people know, but Jazwares is releasing new MK figures, and I hoenstly don't remember an announcement for these. The first is a 6 inch 4 pack of MK1/MK2 ninjas. Reptile and Scorpion have alternate heads, and they all come with the MK2 friendship dolls.
The second is an "x ray" pack of Jax and reptile, which I assume means they'll be getting normal releases in wave 2.
Where to start? The 4 pack looks alright, hands are pretty bulky though. The initial 6 inch figured had a pretty limited range of motion, especially compared to the 3 3/4 figures, which had articulation comparable to the newer GI Joes, truly excellent figures, especially the MK9 ones, which I was really surprised with. Even if the arms pop off out of the box, they're fine once put back on. The x-ray 2 pack... meh, the gimmick is cool. I'm sure Reptile's regular release will look better if his masked head has better proportions, but Jax seems to be beyond repair. i doubt they'll re0do the whole mold, and that's what they'll need to do.

The X-ray figures are blowing my mind.
Not because os sculpt, not because the X-ray move is cool, but because in recent years, the whole entire action figure market has lacked creativity in my opinion.
This just seems unique, and risky, but in a good way. I wouldn't expect it, and it's certainly a creative idea.
I mean, I have a better appreciation for action figures made in my dad's time, like Stretch Armstong and G.I. Joe with Karate chop action, when coming up with uniqe and new ideas for toys were mandatory.
These days, it's simply "Make a sculpt of a dude" and that's that.
I think I might HAVE to buy these.
Thanks a lot for sharing, dude. I would figure you, Vash, would know what I'm talking about, as I'm positive you are an action figure enthusiast, nay?
