I was at Barnes and Noble tonight and noticed a new MK Double Feature disc. This is not the fullscreen only verison that's floating around at local Wal-Marts either. This featured new cover art and most interesting of all: the WB logo on the back. Now, WB does own New Line and this may bode well for the films to reach Blu-Ray sooner or later as it appears WB owns the rights. However, the aspect I'm wondering about is, the cover claims the first film is finally presented in anamorphic 16x9 video but a few years back when they re-released it in an amaray case, they mislabeled the discs to read 16x9 and it did indeed have standard 4x3 widescreen. Here's a link to the new disc (it still says it was released in 2007 but on Best Buy's website it claims the disc was just released Tuesday):

That's a prettier box than original double disc from new line... but what this is basically repackaging of the movies since WB owns the rights to the movies now... but nice find... I might pick this up....
